The American Society of São Paulo's newsletter, published 10 times per year, and currently running at 20 pages per issue. All content is planned, assigned, edited, laid out, proofed, and sent to print. Planning includes special interest articles, social activities and charitable contributions of the society members, and allowing for advertising space. Each cover highlights a photo taken in or around São Paulo, Brazil, and the color theme for each issue complements the main color in the photo.

Membership Directory & Resource Guide

The American Society of São Paulo's annual publication, currently running at 140 pages. Content includes helpful information for living and working in São Paulo, English-language-friendly establishments, and contact information for other society members. All content is planned, updated, edited, laid out, proofed, and sent to print. Planning includes contacting partners for updated language, confirming all information is up to date, approving any new content to include, and allowing for advertising space. Each cover highlights a donated piece from an artist in Brazil, and the color theme for each annual issue complements the main color in the work of art.

Annual Gala Promotional Materials

The American Society of São Paulo's annual Gala raises funds each year for two selected children's charities. Each year has a different theme, and different charities benefit. Current promotional materials include a 12-page program, an 8-page auction guide, printed invitations, posters, bidding paddles, table numbers, auction item display sheets, a photo op banner & a sponsor banner. All materials are designed around the theme, edited, laid out, proofed, and sent to print. Planning includes locating and getting approval for the photographic elements to support the year's theme, verifying all promotional images for the various auction items, confirming all information is accurate, and coordinating the print schedules. All materials are designed to support the theme, and the theme for each year is chosen by the Gala committee.

Living With Saci

Full wrap cover illustration designed to client specifications. For a fictional story set in São Paulo, Brazil. Front cover illustration is based on a particular scene in the book where the main protagonist has just survived yet another unusual and upsetting ordeal. Font choice and layout were also included in the design.

Nombreux Sont Les Chemins ...

Full-wrap cover illustration designed to client specifications. For a fictional story set in historically accurate times, the client requested a depiction of Mount Vesuvius on the front cover, with 3 different roads leading to the top, and on the back cover, the volcano erupting with smoke and lava. Font choice and layout were also included in the design.
